Misty Edwards – I Will Waste My Life

Awakening – Eddie James

We are all really just looking for our place of rest. Find it in Him. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

You matter! Your life matters! God has a plan and a purpose for your life!

The Call – Azusa 2016

Awaken Our Hearts!

Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Psalm 139:14 – “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows well.”

You are chosen.

John 15:16 – “You have not chosen me, but rather I have chosen you, and called you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name he may give it to you,” (Jesus).

You are accepted.

Ephesians 1:5-6 – “Having predestinated us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.”

You have a purpose.

Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Women of God, Rise Up!

As I was spending time in prayer this morning meditating on the seasons and cycles of the Lord, I heard the Holy Spirit say these words, “Women of God, Rise Up! This is your time, your season, your hour!”  Beginning at Sundown tomorrow evening, March 23, we enter into the season and cycle of Purim leading up to Passover.

The story of Purim is told in the book of Esther. Purim is the biblical holiday that celebrates a great deliverance for the people of God from the wicked plans of the enemy, (Esther 9:26-29)!  The person who led the people of God to this great victory was a woman. Her name was Esther.

Here are some things we can learn from the life of Esther.

  • She was born for that exact moment, time and purpose, (Esther 4:14). Like Esther, you were created for such a time as this. You have come into the Kingdom for this time, season and hour, (Isaiah 41:4, Psalms 139:16, Esther 4:14). You have a purpose! You have a call! You are anointed!
  • Esther was pre-positioned. Here is what I mean by that. Esther became queen before the plans of the enemy were revealed. She was put in a place of influence and power before the plans of the enemy took place. That is significant to know because it tells us that nothing catches God by surprise! It also tells us that He has a plan in place for whatever arises in your life, regardless of what it may be.  Like Esther, you, Woman of God, are a part of God’s plan for this time, season and hour!  You were pre-positioned, or as the Bible says it, pre-ordained, called and set apart to wreak havoc on the enemy. You were pre-positioned by God to bring about great deliverances in your family, friends, and overall sphere of influence. Let your inner warrior arise!
  • Esther found favor and grace in the sight of the King and the King loved her, (Esther 2:17). Believe in the Love of God for you and those you care about. Believe that God will perfect that which concerns you, (Psalm 138:8). Even the hairs on your head are numbered, (Luke 12:7). God is intimately acquainted with all of your ways, (Psalms 139:1-10). His love for you compels Him to care about what you care about. Therefore have faith in His love! He won’t let you down.
  • Esther went through a time of preparation. Know this woman of God, your day is coming. You have been prepared for such a time as this. Don’t be afraid to step out into whatever it is that God is calling you to do. Like Esther, you have been prepared! Everything you need is within you ‘for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world,’ (1 John 4:4).
  • Victory was obtained through intercession. Esther went before the King and interceded on behalf of her people, (Esther 5).

Women of God, you too have obtained favor and grace from the King through the blood of Jesus. Therefore, go boldly before the throne of grace, (Hebrews 4:16, 10:19) to find help in a time of need.

Rise up in intercession for your spouse, sons, daughters and grandchildren. Rise up and make intercession for your city, state and nation. Rise up and decree the Word of the Lord over your workplace and sphere of influence.  This is your time! This is your season! This is your hour! God delights in giving you the desires of your heart!

Like the enemy used Haman in the story of Esther, he always works through other people. The people are not your enemy. The spirit using the people is. Therefore take authority over the enemy and command that every spirit and principality let your spouse, sons, daughters, grandchildren, etc… go! Break the power of the enemy and decree that destructive patterns and cycles be broken. Decree that destructive relationships be broken! Declare the plan of God being done in their lives!  Declare that all soul ties are broken. Decree healing and deliverance over their lives. Preach the Word to their addictions, destructive behaviors, unequally yoked relationships, etc… Release the love of God into their lives!  Mail them a card but before you do, anoint it with oil and lay hands on it decreeing the Word of God over their lives!  Anoint something of theirs with oil and declare revival, renewal and restoration. Call those things that be not as though they were, (Romans 4:17).  Decree a thing and watch God do it, (Job 22:28).  Pray for the outrageous and see God do signs, wonders and miracles on your behalf!

  • Women of God, Rise Up! This is your time, your season, your hour!”

Having Done all to Stand, Stand!

So what do you do when it seems like you’ve done all you can do, and yet nothing appears to be changing? The relationship is still in turmoil. The sickness hasn’t gone away. There still isn’t enough money at the end of the month to make ends meet. The person I love is still addicted…the child I love has turned away from God…I’ve been thrown into the middle of a crisis…

  • Don’t give up! Jesus said in Luke 18:1 that men ought to pray and never give up! The emphasis being on NEVER!  With God it is never too late!  Decide in your heart that you won’t give up or give in regardless of what the circumstances appear to be.
  • This is critical. You must invite the Holy Spirit onto the scene! Ask Him to help you with whatever it is you are going through.  The Bible says that He was specifically sent here to lead us and guide us, (John 16:13 and 14:26). The Bible calls Him the Comforter, Helper, Counselor, Spirit of Wisdom and Might, The Spirit of Truth, The Spirit of Understanding and Fear of the Lord. Therefore, ask Him to help you with whatever it is you are facing. Ask Him to counsel you and give you the wisdom and understanding you need every step of the way.  We were not made to walk through crisis in our own power. Instead God wants us to “cast all our cares upon Him,” (1 Peter 5:7).  He wants to empower us to overcome whatever it is that we or someone we love is facing, (Acts 1:8).
  • Surround yourself with like- minded people. When you are facing a life or death situation it’s vital that you surround yourself people who think and believe like you! In Mark chapter 5, we see this principle at work when Jesus went to pray for the daughter of Jairus. Before entering into the girls’ room, He kicked everyone else out except the girl’s parents, Peter, James and John.  If you read about this, you will find out that there were people there who were scorning, mocking and laughing at Jesus. Those are the people He kicked out! There is enough trouble without having the additional burden of dream killers, doubters and frienemies whispering doubt and unbelief into your ears!
  • Believe in the love of God! God is love, (1 John 4:16). At His core being, He is love. Everything He does comes through the prism of love.  He loves you infinitely more than you can think or imagine.  He knows everything about you, including what you are going through!  Nothing catches Him by surprise.  Believe in His love for you.  He cares about what you care about. It matters to Him.
  • Finally the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:13-14, that having done all to stand, stand! Stand on the Word of God! Stand on the love of God.  Believe in the goodness of God!  He will perfect that which concerns you, (Psalm 138:8).

God will perfect that which concerns you. (Psalm 138:8)

God is aware of everything that is going on in your life! He knows everything about you. He knows what you are going through. Most importantly, He cares about what happens to you. He cares about what happens in your life. He will meet you right where you are. God is not far away. He is as close as your next conversation with Him.
